Just finished this painting... While I painted, thought about how much I love Colorado and my heart aches to be there (especially when it is a HOT Texas day!) Also just can't help but to remember the school, Columbine, every time I say the word. Thoughts go back to when that tragic day happened. My heart goes out to all affected. Still, Columbine is the name of the beautiful State flower of Colorado. Every time the earth is covered with these brilliant flowers, my wish is they bring hope of new beginnings and life.
Thankful to God for creating so much beauty - He is the ultimate artist. So thankful He has given me the ability to paint and express my artistic self.
